Resurrection is part of a cluster of churches in the OKC area called the “Holy COW” Cluster. Other churches included are Lord of Life in Edmond, Our Lord’s in OKC, St Paul’s in OKC and Trinity in OKC. We get together once every two months or so for food, fellowship, prayer and to talk about ways we can work together for worship, social events or community service. A big focus for 2017 is the celebration of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.
Next Cluster Meeting and Brunch: April 28 at 10am at RLC
RLC is one of 12 Oklahoma City area ELCA churches which are part of what is called a Mission Cluster. The Arkansas-Oklahoma Synod has several mission clusters which help to facilitate the work of the church in the local setting.
Our cluster gathers for fellowship, support and communication between the OKC-area churches and to plan things we can be doing jointly in the community.
If you would like to be part of what is going on in our cluster, or just have a nice brunch and meet nice people from other OKC churches, join us at 10 AM on Saturday, April 28 at RLC for brunch and a brief meeting.
If you are able, you are invited to bring a brunch item to share.
Sing for Joy – Radio Program on KUCO (90.1) on Sundays at 8:30 AM
Our Cluster has been sponsoring an excellent program out of St Olaf College in Northfield MN called “Sing for Joy” each Sunday morning from 8:30-9:00. It is an outreach and an opportunity to let people who enjoy music learn about the Lutheran congregations in the OKC area.
If you would like to sponsor a week or more, please let Pastor Mark know. The cost is approximately $35 per week.
