Resources to Participate More Full in Lent
-The Gospel According to John Scripture Journal
We are giving these away free, but if you would like to make a donation, the cost is about $4.00 a book. This book has the page of scripture on the left and a page for notes on the right. Pastor Mark will be giving you a schedule to read through John during Lent and Easter. During that time, take notes about what God is saying to you. Then, on Sundays, Pastor Mark will be preaching on the same scriptures, so you can take notes in the journal based on the sermons as well.
-Joining Jesus On His Mission by Greg Finke
This book will be the basis for Wednesday night Lenten services. You don’t need to read it to be able to participate in the services, but it will help you go deeper in the message of discipleship that Pastor Mark will be sharing.
The cost of this book is $14, and an order form will be in the Fellowship Hall. If you would lie the ebook or audio version of the book, they are $9.99 and can be ordered using this link - https://dwelling114.org/store
The Goal of these Resources
-To help us become more aware of what Jesus is like by reading the Gospel of John so we will be more likely to be able to see him present and at work in the world.
-To invite us to become better disciples of Jesus by reading and discussing Joining Jesus in His Mission.
