Mission of the Month (MOM)
February Activity: Souper Bowl Sunday, Feb 3-4
Each month, we're adopting one community outreach project and encouraging everyone to participate in some way. There will be big and small projects and you're encouraged to come up with ideas, too.
Some months we will focus on programs we do every year such as Manna Pantry Trick or Treat, the Pumpkin Patch, the Angel Tree, etc. But we will also come up with new programs that we think our members will want to participate in. Fore more info, contact Peter Cox, our VP of Missions and Outreach.
Treats for Your Sweetie: Feb 10-11
Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser Feb 11
Sabbatical Implementation Task Force
With the help of a Lilly Foundation Grant and the generosity of the RLC congregation, Pastor Mark will be taking time next Summer for a Sabbatical. For that time to go well, we need to be doing lots of planning between now and then.
We need to work on preparing for Weekend Worship, Care Ministry coverage, and coordinating what we are doing as a congregation to connect with what Pastor Mark is doing and studying so we can have a shared experience which will bless us all.
Would you like to be part of this Task Force? If so, check with Pastor Mark.
Share Your Faith at Sunday School
We are asking people to share their favorite Bible story or Bible verse with our inter-generational Sunday School Class. The class will be meeting at 10:30AM in the double glass class room., beginning September 17th. Please sign up for the date you can share your story in the Fellowship Hall
