Next Steps Meeting, Mar 1

“Next Steps” meeting after church – bring some finger food to share if you would like and join as we talk about where we are headed as a congregation.

If you have input and are unable to attend, share what you would like to have discussed with an RLC Council Member or someone else who will be at the meeting.

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, Feb 17, 6:30pm

Our annual Pancake Dinner will be Feb 17, at 6:30pm. The cost is $8 for Adults and $4 for youth 16 and under.
Children 2 and under eat free. Please join us. Bill Cook volunteered to make this event even more special this year.

Valentine's Day Social and Celebration of Pastor Mark's RLC Anniversary, Feb 8, 11:30am

Please join us as we celebrate Valentine's Day and shower Pastor Mark and RLC with love as we celebrate his anniversary at our church!

After worship on Feb 8, we will have a Valentine's potluck. The church will provide chicken salad sandwiches and peanut butter and Jelly sandwiches as well as chocolate fondue. Please bring something to share if you are able.

After lunch we will have Valentine’s crafts for everyone to make.

Please remember to shower Pastor Mark with cards and blessings.

Grief Group Meeting the 3rd Thursday of the Month, 6:30pm at RLC

Are you grieving the loss of someone you loved? Or do you have a friend or family member who could benefit from some emotional support. Come join us and let's navigate this journey together. If you would like more information, please contact Lori B or Amy Tharp.

Help Feed People Who Stop by Our Outside Blessing Box

Our Blessing Box continues to get heavy use. Our biggest need is packages of tuna, chicken and other protein. Two things we could use more of right now are granola bars and chewy granola bars.

New Time for Worship Planning

0We now have a set time for worship planning and it is the first Sunday of the month at 9:00am. All who are interested are welcome to attend.

February 18: Ash Wednesday Service at 7pm
February 25: Apprenticeship with Jesus (7pm)

March 11: Becoming like Jesus (7pm)

March 25: Doing as Jesus did

Feel free to order or purchase the book yourself, but if you want the church to order it for you, please sign up in the Fellowship Hall by Sun, Feb 8, or let Pastor Mark know you want a book.

It looks like with shipping it will be about $18 a book. The book is also available also on Audible.

"Boundaries" Bible Study with Dr Paul

A new Bible study called Boundaries has started, and you are invited to participate. It's being lead by Dr. Paul and it's every Sunday at 9:15am.

Sometimes the challenge of Christianity is to have the courage to say yes, but often the greatest spiritual discipline is to know when to say no. This study is based on the book Boundaries by Henry Cloud and John Towsend.

"Coffee and Lutheranism 101" Class

Join us Sundays after church. We will be done by noon.

Are you exploring Baptism or Holy Communion? Are you looking at joining the church but don’t know much about Lutheranism (or Christianity)? Are you already a church member but have questions you would like answered?

The Season of Lent

Pastor Mark is Praying at the Yukon Chamber of Commerce 2x/month

Following God’s call to get into the community and connect people with God and each other, Pastor Mark will be doing community prayer in the Yukon Chamber of Commerce board room from noon-1:00 the first and third Monday of each month.

Come and join us as we pray for each other and the Yukon community.

Wednesday 4 Lokal

Each Wednesday, Pastor Mark (unless he is out of town or has another commitment) is going to the Lokal in Yukon from 4-5pm for a beer and to develop community. It is a great opportunity to talk and pray with others or just check in with the server to see how they are doing and if they would like prayer for anything. Come join him one of these Wednesdays.
