Manna Pantry Main Event Dinner & Auction, Sept 7, Palace Event Center, 6-8pmInfo from our local newspaper, the Yukon Progress:
"Manna Pantry, which now serves clients across Canadian County, has set its inaugural “Main Event” dinner and auction for Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023. The fund-raising benefit starts at 6 p.m. inside the Palace Event Center, 2310 N Banner Road in El Reno. “As we continue to grow, we need more space to store food,” Manna Pantry Director Sherri Rogers said. “Our warehouse is full. “We need a storage facility that’s climate controlled.” Funds collected at the Sept. 7th Main Event will be used to purchase a storage building that will be placed on a concrete pad behind the center. The structure will be used for storage by Manna Pantry and the other two Together We ministries, the Faith Clinic and Woven thrift clothing boutique." https://yukonprogressnews.com/2023/08/31/countys-emergency-food-pantry-seeks-more-storage/ Filling Jacob's Ladder Food Pantry![]() Jacob’s Cupboard has been going through food quickly, and could use a good restocking.

We now Have a Book Sharing Box (Focus on Youth Books) and a Food Box at RLC to Serve Our CommunityTwo members of RLC who are also Boy Scouts chose RLC and the surrounding community for their Eagle Scout projects in 2021. Our most recent addition (Dec) is a book sharing box on our property. The focus is sharing books for young people in the surrounding area.
In June 2021, our first box was installed: a food sharing box, where people who need food can select items from the box. Donated food items are always appreciated. This morning I had the pleasure of delivering "Happy Spring" blessings to Gran Gran's Place on behalf of Resurrection Lutheran Church for our May Community Outreach. We gave them five dozen roses--red and white roses for each of the 42 residents as well as 18 mixed-colored roses for the front desk. Each resident also received a new box of 48 Crayons and a lovely coloring sheet with a Bible verse. Each month going forward, we will deliver another Bible verse coloring sheet for the residents. Please pray that these gifts will lift their spirits and remind them that they're a beloved part of our community and not forgotten. If you'd like to help with the cost of these gifts and future community blessings please add a little to your regular giving and specify the amount to be posted to OUTREACH. BLESSINGS ON YOUR DAY!
