At Resurrection Lutheran Church, we worship and organize in the Lutheran tradition, the heritage of the great reformer, Martin Luther. Second only to the members of the Roman Catholic Church, Lutherans are the largest Protestant Christian group in the world today.

Worship

Our goal is to have an open, welcoming, and informal time of worship. Casual dress is encouraged at all worship services. All who believe are welcome to participate in Holy Communion.

We strongly encourage all children to be with their family in worship, and we provide special bags with snacks and activities to each child.

Each Sunday, there is an opportunity to underwrite the cost of the flowers at the front of the church. It is a wonderful way to recognize a family member or commemorate a special event. There is a sign-up sheet in the fellowship hall.

At each service, a member of the congregation reads the scripture preceding the sermon. Here Connie Houpt reads.

As we leave the sanctuary, this sign on the door reminds us that after the church service, the service to others begins.
