Local Lutheran Cluster

Resurrection is part of a cluster of churches in the OKC area called a Cluster. Other churches included are Lord of Life in Edmond, Our Lord’s in OKC, St Paul’s in OKC and Trinity in OKC. We get together once every two months or so for food, fellowship, prayer and to talk about ways we can work together for worship, social events or community service.

What's it All About?

Come and get to know members from the other ELCA Lutheran congregations in the OKC area. All of the OKC area congregations are part of our Cluster. Penny Budzein is our Representative.

We begin by eating together and then continue our meeting which includes:

Praying for each other
Planning activities (worship, service events, outings, etc.) we can do or sponsor together
Finding out what is going on in each other’s congregations
Praying for the ministry of each church

There are some great people involved.

Cluster Monthly Event for All Ages

Friday, Feb 27, 6-8pm at Trinity Lutheran in OKC
This Friday, and each last Friday of the month, there will be a Cluster Youth Event at Trinity in OKC. This week it will be pizza and a G-rated movie, and there will be discussions about future events.

Let Lori B know by Thursday if you want to go. The group will leave from RLC at 5:30.

New Cluster Dean Elected

Pastor Julie Recher from Lord of Life in Edmond is our new Dean.

Pastor Brian Campbell from All Saints had been serving as Dean but is on medical leave due to health issues and will not be returning to All Saints after his medical leave.

Please pray for healing for Brian and blessing for Julie as our new dean.

Sing for Joy Sponsorship

Our cluster sponsors a radio program from St Olaf College in Northfield, MN called “Sing for Joy.” It is on KUCO (FM 90.1) at 8:30 on Sunday mornings. During this time of Covid isolation, this is an excellent outreach to those who are not able to go to church.
