Resurrection Lutheran Church celebrated its 50th anniversary on Sunday, September 27, 2015. Bishop Michael Girlinghouse attended, along with retired pastor Tom, Fayth Mueller, several charter members of RLC and current members of the church. We had special musical performances by our choir, hand bell choir, People of the Land contemporary musical group and several individuals wishing to help us celebrate this joyous occasion. The service was followed by a catered lunch, with commentators reminiscing about the early days of the church and lots of laughter and joy. It concluded with a drawing for a quilt made by the RLC Quilt Ladies in celebration of the event. A big thanks to the many people who helped planned the celebration. A special thanks to Amanda Sossamon, who chaired the event. Many of the photos of the event are below.
